Lemons and Lemonade: Homespun Yarn Party 2020 Postponed... and Going Virtual!

In light of Gov Hogan's announcement yesterday afternoon and out of increasing concern for the safety of everyone involved, with great regret we must postpone this year's Homespun Yarn Party at Savage Mill indefinitely.

We are hoping to reschedule for later this year, but in the meantime we will be hosting a virtual yarn party at our regularly scheduled date and time, Sunday March 22 from 12-5 PM!

More details will be provided soon, but get ready to shop from the comfort of your living room!   We'll be bringing you discounts, special offers, prizes, and more fun.

All of our vendors make their own products in some way, whether that means raising the animals, dyeing the fiber, spinning the yarn, or crafting by hand in small batches. We want to help these talented independent artists thrive, particularly in this difficult season of festival cancellations.  Whether or not you're able to join our virtual party, we urge you to support them with your HYP budget.

We've posted profiles of each one over the past few weeks,   You'll find links to each vendor's website on our blog sidebar, and many offer online shopping.  We are confident you'll find something wonderful!  Watch this space - and our RavelryInstagram, Twitter, and Facebook feeds - throughout the year for news from our vendors and sponsors.

Stay safe, wash your hands, and get your wish list ready!

Let me know if I can help. If there's anything I can do to help.
Addionally, I would definitely love to come to the rescheduled event to represent Knitters and Crocheters Care!

It’s understandable.

Now I can participate from across the country. LOVED going to the HYP when I lived in Delaware. Now I can get some of my favorite items again...
