What kinds of things do you carry?

Yarn (of course), from the machine-washable workhorses to the silky luxury fibers. Plus, we carry spinning fiber, plus needles, hooks and spindles. We've got project bags and notions, and even buttons! Everything is listed (and updated frequently) on the "Products" tab of our webpage! We have classes, too, and those can be found on the "Classes" tab.

How long have you been in business, and what inspired you to open your business?

Red Fox turned three on February 1, 2020. It doesn't seem like it's been three years already! The NoVa area has had several yarn shops close as the owners retired in the last few years (including one in the space where Red Fox Yarns is now). I'd always wanted to have a needlework store of my own, and everything fell into place at the right time for it to happen!

What's your favorite thing about having your business?

Oh my goodness - I get to play with yarn all day! And talk about yarn! If it wasn't for the paperwork involved, it wouldn't feel like work at all!
