Sponsor Post: Come Spend the Weekend at The Knitting Boutique Retreat

Come Spend the Weekend at The Knitting Boutique Retreat

We’re having A Shirley Paden Knitwear Design Weekend

Kent Manor Inn, Stevensville
March 13-15, 2015

“Event far exceeded my expectations.  This was the best retreat I've ever attended.  The hotel and staff were spectacular.  And the classes and people were so much fun.”

In our Knitting Boutique Retreat weekend with Shirley Paden, the author of Knitwear Design Workshop, the go-to-reference book for knit garment designers, will bring her comprehensive yet simple design process. Shirley will teach step-by-step how to use one simple math formula to calculate yardage, shape sleeve caps and armholes, distribute increases and decreases and achieve a perfect fit.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn handknit garment design from an industry expert.  As part of the retreat, Shirley will begin with a Powerpoint Presentation and a video on her Design Concepts.  She’ll provide each student with a workbook to help guide you through your future designs.

We’ll start our weekend on Friday afternoon with great food, a trunk show, and knitting in the parlor in front of the fireplace.  The true learning will begin on Saturday morning with classes led by Shirley.  Only a few spaces left - Join us!  Knitting Boutique Retreat Weekend
