Our yarn is produced from our flock of Montadale sheep which we have raised and shown for 35 years. Each fleece is handpicked and skirted by me before being sent to Green Mountain Spinnery for processing into a double twist worsted weight yarn. I have Green Mt. add 20% mohair to the wool for dye saturation. Once returned the yarn is hand dyed by me in a variety of colors as you can see from our booth pictures. Each skeins contain 240 yds. of yarn and is 4 or more ounces. The yarn is know for its brilliance, minimal pilling, durability and soft handle.
