Our beautiful roving starts with hand selected wool and is processed from start to finish in our carding mill on our farm. Our exclusive pre-drafted gradient rovings, blends and handspun yarns are all one of a kind! Every fiber, color, and blend is hand picked for our custom products.

We have a studio set up for shopping. Available by appointment

How long have you been in business, and what inspired you to start your business?
My husband and I took over his family dairy farm in 2007, adding a small flock of fiber animals since I was a handspinner. After realizing I my love for Wool, and having an abundance, Angel Locks Fiberworks at Greener Pastures Farm was born. In 2015 we purchased a commercial picker and carder and started building our own products right off the farm. Today we have many rovings to choose from including our pre-drafted gradient rovings that are a super easy, fun spin!!

What's your favorite thing about being a farmer, yarnie, or maker?
I love the whole process from raising the sheep to the finished product. Sheep are amazing animals and they fascinate me with what they have to offer us!

Is your shop involved in any charity or educational efforts you’d like to let people know about?
I love teaching children’s groups about the fiber arts. We have taught homeschool groups and Girl Scouts as well as other youngsters about the many different ways of wool!

How long have you been in business, and what inspired you to start your business?

Once upon a time, adKnits was a knitwear brand. After ten years of knitting the same things over and over, though, I was burned out and turned toward knitting illustration instead, making things that I wanted to use as a knitter. The new of adKnits has only been around for a little over a year, but I've enjoyed every minute of it!

What's your favorite thing about being a maker?

I like making things that make people happy!

How long have you been in business, and what inspired you to start your business?

29 Bridges Studio started in 2017 when I rediscovered a passion for fiber arts that began in college with weaving, spinning, and dyeing. Being a dyer is a true a labor of love for me.

What's your favorite thing about being a yarnie?

I'm a lifelong knitter carrying on what my mother taught me as kindergartner. I love knitting because it's portable! Being a dyer, yarnie, and maker is the perfect way to express myself artistically and I love experimenting with different dyeing techniques. There are two different points when in the process that give me so much joy. The first is when you have a beautifully dyed skein of yarn with all of its unique characteristics and variations and then again when the yarn is a knitted piece. I'm always amazed at the transformation.
