3. What do you make?
hand dyed and handspun yarns from responsible wool sources including farm wool and low process falkland.

i dye several wool yarn lines - snapdragon and rainbow chard, i also dye some bulky lamb's pride.

i also do knitwear design, including lots of accessories and baby stuff.

4. How did you get into making stuff?
i suppose i'd have to point to my mother as the source of me making stuff. she's a very creative woman who always encouraged me in the arts.

i'm not sure where the crafts aspect came in... but you have to have something that's your own.

5. What is your favorite thing about the local fiber community?
oh my. someone to talk to about my own personal version of geekiness ;)

6. How does what you do/make influence the rest of your life, and vice versa?
i do this full time, so it is my life! i love working with wool, farmers, color, and shape. there's so much variety and interest in all of the things that i do.

i couldn't just knit or just dye, but all of it together is a holistic occupation for me.

7. Any funny stories, words of wisdom, something else to share about you or your business?
every time i tell people i'm a fiber artist, you can visually see their heads think about leafy greens before they maybe land on quilting or something. hee hee.
