Hand dyed yarn
4. How did you get into making stuff?
I've always made stuff. I got into yarn because of my grandmother. She was an avid crocheter.
5. What is your favorite thing about the local fiber community?
Knitters (and crocheters, spinners, and weavers) are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. When I moved to Maryland a couple of years ago, I went straight to knitting groups to start making new friends. It worked.
6. How does what you do/make influence the rest of your life, and vice versa?
A lot of my colorways are inspired by places I've been and things I've seen. It makes me pay more attention to the colors in my surroundings.
7. Any funny stories, words of wisdom, something else to share about you or your business?
I met my husband because of knitting.
