What kind of stock does WoolWinders carry?
WoolWinders is geared to knitting/crocheting. We carry Rowan, Nashua, Cascade, Malabrigo, Manos. Artyarns, Tilli Tomas, Scholler Stahl, Cherry Tree Hill among other yarn lines. We carry needles, notions, accessories, etc. No spinning/weaving.
What's your favorite thing about having a yarn shop?
We love the excitement of watching new knitters and crocheters!
Do you have any knitting groups meeting at your shop? Any fun classes coming up?
We have open knitting Thursdays from 6-8 PM. Our weekend classes are free of charge--both a Saturday KAL and a project program called Sundays in the Salon. These are described on our website. And we offer Learn to Knit and Learn to Crochet for $10/session. See the class schedule here!
